Photography as a practice of discovery.

Through noticing, image-making, and reflection, we uncover what everyday moments reveal about our lived experience.

People often try to understand an experience before they have fully noticed it.

In this practice, I don’t begin by deciding what a moment means. I begin by paying attention.

I notice what draws me in.
I follow the intuition to make an image.
And I stay open to what that image may reveal through reflection.

Sometimes the meaning becomes clear immediately.
Sometimes it unfolds later through returning to the photograph or remembering the moment it came from.

Either way, the understanding is not forced.

It is discovered.

And this is something you can begin to practice for yourself.

"There was a strong sense of ease and trust in the space. People felt safe enough to be vulnerable and authentic. This work creates the conditions for meaningful internal change."
